HardSoft offers a Trade-in service for your old computers, allowing you to lease new devices and get cash for your old ones. We will collect your old devices, conduct a valuation and send you cash!

Please complete the following form that will allow us to collect your Trade-in Device.

Please ensure the Condition of the device is declared accurately. We will need to re-calculate our offer should there be any discrepancies.

We recommend you back up all data on your device prior to collection. Data is not our responsibility. We will be wiping all data within 24 hours on receipt of your Device.

There is a Fee payable by you of £50 for any missed collections dates, so we appreciate your assistance in making accurate pick-up arrangements.

Before submitting this form, please ensure that devices (where applicable) have been removed from ‘Find my Mac’ and that BIOS password and any internal management systems have been removed.

    Serial Number(s)* of Devices to return. We must have accurate Serial Numbers to proceed.

    iPhone or iPad
  • 1. Open the settings app and tap your name at the top of the screen
  • 2. Tap “Find my”
  • 3. Tap ”Find my iPhone/iPad”
  • 4. Tap “Find my iPhone/iPad” button to switch it off, you may need to enter your Apple ID password

  • To erase your iPhone or iPad follow below:
  • 1. go to Settings
  • 2. tap General
  • 3. tap Reset
  • 4. tap Erase All Content and Settings

  • Apple Watch
  • 1. open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone
  • 2. tap My Watch
  • 3. tap your Apple Watch at the top of the screen
  • 4. tap Unpair Apple Watch

  • MacBook or iMac
  • 1. Launch System Preferences from your Mac’s Dock, from the Applications folder, or from the Apple menu bar
  • 2. Click iCloud in the preferences panel.
  • 3. Scroll down to Find My Mac and untick the checkbox next to it.
  • 4. Enter your ‌Apple ID‌ password when prompted.
  • 5. Click Continue.
  • 6. Click the red dot at the top left corner of the window to close the preference pane.

  • NOTE: you can also disable Find My Mac by signing your Mac out of iCloud completely. To do so, just click Sign Out in the iCloud preference pane. If you sign out, any mail, contacts, calendars, photos, notes, reminders, or other documents that are stored in iCloud will be removed from your Mac, but they will remain in the cloud.

    Ensure that you have administrator credentials to disable bitlocker encryption. Follow the steps given below to disable bitlocker encryption in GUI mode,

  • 1. Click Start, click Control Panel, click System and Security, and then click BitLocker Drive Encryption.
  • 2. Look for the drive on which you want BitLocker Drive Encryption turned off, and click Turn Off BitLocker.
  • 3. A message will be displayed, stating that the drive will be decrypted and that decryption may take some time. Click Turn off Bitlocker / Decrypt the drive to continue and turn off BitLocker on the drive.

  • This might take some time to decrypt the drive and remove BitLocker protection.

    NOTE: You can ensure if the BitLocker encryption is removed by checking if the Bitlocker lock icon is removed in the particular drive and by accessing the particular drive. You can repeat the same steps to disable Bitlocker Encryption in other drives.
