EU & International Roaming

Stay connected when travelling with roaming services available across O2, Vodafone and EE networks. Roaming options and charges vary by network, allowing customers to stay in touch whilst working or travelling abroad.

Roaming Within Europe

Depending on your chosen network and tariff, roaming services may be available across a range of European destinations. Charges, eligibility and inclusive allowances vary by network and roaming zone.

For eligible tariffs:

  • O2 includes EU roaming access on qualifying plans. 
  • Vodafone roaming services are charged on a daily basis in EU destinations. 
  • EE roaming services are charged on a daily basis in EU destinations.

International Roaming

For travel outside Europe, additional roaming options are available depending on the network selected.

Available roaming services include:

  • O2 World Travel Select. 
  • Vodafone World Travel services. 
  • EE Business and World Zone roaming services. 

Charges and included services vary by destination and network. Customers should refer to the latest roaming rate cards before travelling.

Roaming Data Allowance

A roaming fair usage allowance of 25GB per billing period applies when using eligible roaming services.

When the fair usage allowance is exceeded:

  • O2 and Vodafone customers will be charged £2.00 per GB.
  • EE customers will be charged at the applicable out-of-bundle roaming rates. 

Roaming Policy

Inclusive roaming services are intended for customers who travel periodically and are not designed for permanent use outside the UK.

Roaming activity is monitored over a rolling four-month period. If a customer spends more time abroad than in the UK and their roaming usage exceeds their domestic usage, they may be considered a permanent roamer and additional charges may apply.

International Calling

International calls are available through optional bolt-ons, including:

  • 100 international minutes.
  • 250 international minutes.
  • 500 international minutes.
