Offsetting your carbon doesn’t prevent CO2 entering the atmosphere. Rather, it allows you to invest into sustainable and environmentally beneficial projects so that over time, there is a steady reduction in CO2 emissions and eventual reversal.
Your 3% will be sent to various global projects which are partnered with the manufacturers of the devices you choose. This way, you are directly contributing to real change rather than just planting a few trees.

The UK Government has committed to reaching net zero by 2050, as part of a commitment to the global 2015 Paris Agreement to keep rises in average global temperatures to below 2°C and as close to 1.5°C as possible.
