This year Wacom has launched a new or updated range of products. The new Intuos Pro Paper and an updated Intuos Pro are already available and the Cintiq Pro is expected to arrive later this year! Wacom Intuos Pro
This is a great option if you work in creative applications. Perfect for precision work and offering improved resolution and sensitivity than the original Intuos, as well as tilt recognition and ExpressKeys. The new Intuos Pro comes with the new Pro Pen 2, is x4 more accurate than the previous generation of Pro Pen and with 8,192 levels of pressure sensitivity it offers a more natural and responsive drawing experience. Just 8mm thick, it is thinner and more compact than its predecessors while keeping the same size active area. Both models come with a Touch Ring, 8 customisable ExpressKeys and on-pen slider switches so that you can have your favourite shortcuts right at your fingertips.
This piece of kit is a game changer. It combines your graphics tablet and laptop into one! It offers you a mobile solution that is just what you need if you’re out and about all the time. With full full versions of your chosen creative software and up to 4K resolution with 96% RGB colour performance, as well as the brand-new Wacom Pro Pen 2.Available in both 13 and 16 versions with both running on Windows 10. The 13 has a 13.3” screen, 6 ExpressKeys, and three configuration options to choose from. The 16 provides a larger workspace, up to a 15.6” display and 8 ExpressKeys.
This brings together pen and touch input with a high res display, the Cintiq Creative Pen Display is perfect for those who work with illustrations or 3D design because you are able to paint directly onto the screen. You can also customise it to the perfect way of working for you, with the adjustable stand position, ExpressKeys and TouchRings which can be tailored to your preferences.
The Intuos Paper Edition is the Wacom for you if you still like to work on paper. It combines an Intuos Pro tablet with a Paper Clip, which attaches to the top of your tablet and tracks pen strokes made with your Wacom Finetip Pen, which is included. The Clip saves each stroke of your Finetip Pen in an editable file, which you can open in your creative software. You can even have the digital version made up of Photoshop layers by tapping a button on the table to start a new layer as you draw. There are a few size options, such as the desktop version with a 21.5″ full HD display is the Cintiq 22HD, and the more portable option of the Cintiq 13HD. There is also the Cintiq 27QHD, which is at the top of the Wacom tree.
