Apple launched the new MacBook Pro 16″ this month with some long-awaited improvements
First of all, they have fixed the keyboard and have lost the butterfly design! They have also made changes to the way heat is dissipated, meaning that the MacBook now runs faster and is less likely to overheat. Apple has also given the arrow key layout a comeback, along with a physical escape key, which most Pro users are reported to prefer.
Of course, these were considered minor updates in comparison to the new 16-inch screen, but for most users of the MacBook Pro it’s the keyboard and overheating issues which are the biggest improvements.
The 16-inch is just slightly larger than the 15-inch, with True Tone technology and an adjustable frame rate on the retina display (up to 60Hz), as well as a full 100Wh battery (up from 83Wh), offering up to 11 hours of battery life according to Apple. A big deal for unplugged users, because this is the biggest and best battery legally allowed to be taken on an aircraft!
As well as this, there is a better base GPU and upgrade options, and better storage and RAM options, with RAM being a higher MHz that the previous Gen.
But none of this is the most exciting thing to come out of the new MacBook Pro 16-inch release…
