Apple MacBook Air Trade in Discount

HardSoft offer a Part Exchange option of your old MacBook Air against any new Apple Mac

The MacBook Air is an extremely portable notebook; it sits somewhere between the tablet computer iPad and iPod touch lines running iOS and the thicker and higher-performance Macbook Pro laptops. The Mac Book Air inspired a rival range of Ultrabook computers by other PC manufacturers.

The first MacBook Air was introduced in 2008 (a 13.3 inch only model) and was promoted as the world’s thinnest notebook. The MacBook Air was updated later in 2008 to be faster, with improved graphics and an increased hard drive capacity. During 2009 the slightly higher capacity battery and a faster Penryn CPY was introduced.

Apple, during October 2010, released a redesigned 13.3-inch model, with improved enclosure, screen resolution, battery; and flash storage instead of a hard drive; and a new 11.6-inch model. The 11.6-inch, relative to the 13.3-inch, offered reduced cost, weight, battery life, and performance, however it was still a better performer than typical netbooks of the time.

In July 2011 the new model was powered by the new Sandy Bridge 1.6 or 1.7 GHz dual-core Intel Core i5, or 1.8 GHz dual-core Intel Core i7 processors; and a whole catalogue of enhancements including an Intel HD Graphics 3000 processor, a 720p FaceTime camera, and 2 gigabytes of RAM (configurable up to 4GB).

In June 2012 was the introduction of the Ivy Bridge dual-core Intel Core i5 and i7 processors, which meant double the RAM and SSD speed; this model also has the new USB 3 ports.
