Leasing makes economic sense, allowing you to install the equipment you require, without making a large capital outlay. So you can have the equipment you want, when you want it, rather than wait until you have the funds available. And because leasing is flexible, you can select the payment period you need normally between three and five years and choose to make payments monthly, quarterly or annually.

In addition, we can finance a wide range of equipment including hardware, software, services, cabling, training and furniture. With special education rates on offer, you can be assured of the best possible price. Add to that the fact that rates are fixed and you can plan your IT expenditure with confidence. We also offer the option of total insurance for all equipment on the lease, giving you peace of mind for the life of the agreement.

Finally, you can take comfort in the fact that all leases conform to the statutory requirements of the DFE, FEFC, HEFC and LEAs and we have wide experience and expertise of the public sector as a whole.

Leasing Options

Operating Lease

The value of the asset at the end of the lease is taken into account. So you get the benefit of that value reflected in a lower rental price.

Systems Upgrade Lease

This is a lease, custom-made for the education sector, allowing you to regard your lease as a rolling investment in IT.

Users that hold an existing Systems Upgrade lease with us can take advantage of the Systems Upgrade Option. This allows users to take given percentages of the new equipment via their Systems Upgrade Allowance Table without the need to increase your rental.

The table below illustrates the upgrade allowance that can be used to add equipment and services to an existing agreement throughout the life of the contract.

What happens at the end of the agreement?

Should you decide not to upgrade your system during the agreed period, you can:

  1. Cancel: Providing you give us three months notice before the end of the agreement, your final payment is made and the equipment returned satisfactorily, no further payments will be due.

  2. Fully Upgrade: At the end of the agreement, you will have 100% rental available so could effectively renew all your equipment.

  3. Purchase Outright: The equipment belongs to us and under statutory requirements we cannot sell the equipment to you. However, at the end of the agreement, we could sell to an external body such as your PTA and they may wish to donate the equipment.
